At the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC), we offer a variety of programs and services to help students explore their career options, build their networks and prepare for their career.

Hire Power
Offered by the Academic Advising & Career Centre, this award-winning annual conference provides students and graduates with the strategies, tools and confidence to find and keep work.

Extern Program
This career exploration program links students with professionals in the workplace and provides the opportunity for students to learn about specific careers through information interviews and job-shadowing experiences.

Panels, Fairs and Networking Events
Students can participate in a variety of exciting on-campus events aimed at connecting them with relevant professionals and career opportunities, and expanding their networks.

Co-op
UTSC offers co-op programs in arts, science and management, which enable students to complete practical work placements relevant to their degree.

Science Learning & Outreach
UTSC also offers courses that have an academic and placement component, such as Science Learning & Outreach, where students enhance their classroom studies through direct hands-on experience with a community employer.
